Multiple Door Locations
The 2400 Series II is available with multiple door locations: Front, Left Side, Right Side, Both Sides, and an optional Rear Commodity Door.
Rear Commodity Door
- Pre-mix commodities once and empty into a storage bin for the day's feeding schedule.
- Location of commodity door allows mixer to back into narrow spaces for emptying.
- Helps to streamline the mixing process to allow more time for other tasks.
Conveyor Discharge Packages
Side doors include deflector shield with rubber flaps. Optional discharge chute available with or without magnet installed. Optional Conveyor Discharge Package with Collapsible Steel Sides can be hydraulically or manually operated. Side discharge conveyors are 36" wide with choice of 36” or 54" lengths. Gravity slider pan also available.
Front door conveyors can be trailer mounted (feed not weighed on conveyor) or tub mounted (feed weighed on conveyor). Choice of the following drive packages: flat, flat with incline, or flat reversible. Flat and flat reversible discharges are available as sliding/telescoping or mounted. Flat with incline discharges have a choice of shroud options for re-positioning on mount.
Discharge Magnet
Help protect your livestock investment with a discharge magnet to remove traces of metal from the ration.
Knife Count
Add knives to cut up round bales and dry hay. 21-1/2" tungsten/carbide edged hardened knives extend approximately 8" perpendicular to screw flighting.
12" knives are also available.
Electronic Scales And Extension Arm
Increase your profits by accurately weighing feed ingredients with a dinamica generale®, Weigh-Tronix® or Digi-Star® scale. Easy-to-use, programmable electronic scales allow precise formulations. Basic read-up, read-down models and batching models with memory for different menus are available. Recipe/Unloading programs can be set by total weight or number of cows for select models. A signal light or a signal buzzer indicates when desired weight is loaded. Remote display and a controller to zero the scale from a remote location are also available. Include manufacturer's 3 year warranty.
All scales are four-point mounted for load stability and accuracy of ± .5% of system.
Optional indicator extension arm improves viewing when loading from right or left side by extending the indicator an additional 15" from viewing platform.
Sensor Activated Hour Meter
Sensor activated hour meter monitors machine run time and not road travel time.
Steel/Rubber Side Extensions
Extends tub 9-1/4" for additional mixing capacity. Designed with a combination of steel and rubber for durability and long life. Formed steel extension around front and back of mixer provides strength, prevents rubber fatigue, and enables bolting to top of tub. Rubber belting on tub sides offers protection from damage when loading and provides structure flexibility.
