Proven Performance!
"We were surprised by the consistency when mixing hay. We use baleage and big square bales. Clean out is excellent, nothing is left inside. With our old mixer, we were mixing 3-1/2 hours per day and now it's less than one hour."

Increased milk production, butterfat and protein reports are the result of healthy dairy cows eating a well-balanced TMR!
Available in trailer and truck mount models, the proven performance of Patz vertical mixers is evident in our customer success stories.
Patz vertical mixers provide a true, consistent TMR that cows can't sort out!
The Patz Vertical Mixer combines large volumes of assorted material for a uniform mixed ration. Using one large vertical screw, the ration is combined fast and efficiently without crushing the ingredients.
Feed is pulled away from the bottom of the mixer walls by the specially designed screw, allowing more material to fall as the screw rapidly lifts the feed. The continuous lifting and falling action creates a thoroughly blended mixture of ingredients within a few minutes.
After mixing, the screw moves the TMR to the discharge area where it quickly exits the mixer for distribution.
"We had mix samples and shaker box tests taken. They were very consistent and the particle size was right on."

Patz vertical mixers can handle today's rations and the rations of tomorrow.
A recent comment by one of the most successful Patz mixer dealers stated that while many mixers on the market -- both verticals and horizontals -- may be "OK" for today's rations, the Patz vertical mixers can handle today's rations and the rations of tomorrow.
While today's rations on a particular dairy may be easy to mix, what about tomorrow's? What if the dairy is short on forage and it has to purchase hay to stretch their feed supply? What if the most affordable forage available for purchase is round bales or baleage bales? The Patz vertical mixer allows the dairy to handle "tomorrow's rations" with ease.
