A serious hazard exists in the potential for being caught in an unshielded, uncovered return corner or an unshielded return area. Severe leg injuries and amputations have resulted when children, operators and others have accidentally slipped, stepped, or stuck their foot into the entry point of the return shoe and were pulled in by the slow moving chain.
Must be shielded and covered.

You are taking a risk of serious injury in operating a Barn Gutter Cleaner, Manure Stacker or Material Mover without return shields installed.
With safety our foremost concern, Patz equipment must no longer be operated without return shields installed. In addition, all return corners must have gutter covers in place.
Even with all shields and gutter covers in place, keep children away from the equipment and under adult supervision, and all other people and livestock clear of return area while equipment is operating.
