Model 200 Manure Mover Safety Notice
Attention: Owners of Patz Model 200 Manure Movers

Danger!
Patz Model 200 Manure Movers have been built to ASME Pressure Vessel specifications for working pressures up to 40 pounds per square inch (PSI) maximum.
A 40 PSI pressure relief valve was supplied with your manure mover to prevent overpressurization of the manure tank.
It has come to our attention that some operators of Patz manure movers have on occasion intentionally removed, plugged or otherwise tampered with pressure relief valves. This was done to overpressurize the tank in an attempt to clear a plugged manure discharge pipe or to improve the performance of the system. Overpressurization of the tank can result in extremely dangerous consequences including the rupture of the tank and/or its cover mechanism. Such an event can cause personal injury as well as damage to the equipment and other property.
Never remove, plug or tamper with the 40 PSI pressure relief valve. Never allow the internal air pressure to exceed 40 PSI without a properly operating pressure relief valve installed. Overpressurization of the manure mover renders the tank unsafe. Do not continue to use a tank which has been overpressurized. If you have problems emptying the manure mover, consult your operator’s manual or call your Patz dealer for assistance.
The manure mover should be operated only with a 40 PSI ASME certified relief valve as shipped with the unit and properly installed. Never start a compressor, pressurize a tank and leave the area with the compressor running. During operation of the manure mover monitor the pressure on the gauge. If the pressure exceeds 40 PSI, stop the input of air and determine why excess pressure is building.
Please carefully read a current Model 200 Manure Mover Operator’s and Parts Manual before operating your Manure Mover.
