A Patz material-moving system enables you to move materials horizontally, around corners, up inclines, through elbows, and to level out again. You can add assemblies and optional components to custom design your Patz material-moving system for many needs.
The single-trough, steel, slanted, 60°-sidewall, bolt-together sections provide flexibility and adaptability for a multitude of layouts. These sections bolt together for ease of shipping and installation. They may be anchored on top of a solid surface, embedded in concrete, or both. Sections are made of high-strength, corrosion-resistant steel. Choose double-trough or single-trough sections.
The optional split chute offers several important advantages:
- Eliminates need for return corner.
- Made of 11-gauge, high-strength, corrosion-resistant steel.
- Bolts to slide.
- No welding.
- One less corner wheel.
- Useable up to 22° split.
- Adaptable to slide lengths of 8 feet (2.78 m) and longer.
- Chain returns in trough.
- Use with 90° straight or slanted 60° sidewall slides.
Versatile Components
Hold-down post section. Available in 4-inch (18°) or 6-inch (25°) pitch inclines.
All-steel slide. The slide is 11-gauge special-alloy steel and is available in varying lengths as required. The steel center beam is welded-on for structural strength and durability. Trough width is 18 inches (457 mm).
Bolt-on end section. This 10-foot (3.048 m) 180° end section bolts on as part of the complete unit. The section is made of 11-gauge steel. This section includes a 180° wheel assembly.
Trap-door section. A three-foot trap-door section may be installed at various points along the slide, enabling material to be dropped at selected locations during the operation. A 24" chain spacing is recommended for trap-door use.
Corner sections. A 90° corner section permits easy turns. A 22½° corner section is also available for added versatility.

Elbow sections. The 7° elbow sections allow you to form elbows of 7°, 14°, or 21° by staging with a two-foot center slide between each elbow. They can go up elevations and level out. Sections feature replaceable steel wear strips for longer life.
Elevating slides. Elevating slides carry material up to drop-off points over storage areas, trucks, etc. They feature a 4½" (11.43 cm) wide center beam, and are available in 2' (60.96 cm) increments starting at 8' (2.438 m).
All components shown with slanted (60°) sidewalls are also available with straight (90°) sidewalls.
