Patz Conveyor Success Story
Windy Knoll Farm Relies On Patz Conveyors & Feeders to Keep Their Operation Moving
The Eby Family of Windy Knoll Farm in Chambersburg, PA, know how to keep themselves busy. Aldus and Lois Ann Eby, along with their sons Andy and Ardell, recently opened their new farm store, Windy Knoll Farm Market & Creamery. They also operate a dairy farm with 90 Holstein cows.
Time is money and the Eby's rely on quality Patz equipment to keep their dairy operation running smoothly. They currently use five Patz Model 8916 Conveyors and two Patz Model 8916 Feeders. One of the Patz feeders is 80 feet long while one of their Patz conveyors stretches 100 feet.
"We like the heavy build of the Patz conveyors, which have much heavier side walls than the (non-Patz) conveyors we had previously," stated Aldus.
He added that they feel the Patz conveyors are very competitively priced. Of particular value to Aldus is the ease of adjustment of the belt. He likes the simple, low maintenance design of the Patz Conveyors.
The Eby's also appreciate the reliable service of their Patz Dealer, Rodney Witmer of Agri-Service, LLC in Hagerstown, MD. Rodney is readily available to keep all their Patz conveyors, feeders and their Patz Model 400 Gutter Cleaner in operation. That gives the Eby's more time to concentrate on serving up delicious dairy products to the customers of Windy Knoll Farm Market & Creamery.
